Beschreibung

• Create, develop and drive sales within meat processing, dairy, produce and other food processor markets • Sell industrial packaging, personal protection, safety equipment, sanitation, material handling and other plant supply products • Build customer relationships and serve as a business development partner • Handle customer complaints and inquiries • Assist in managing Accounts Receivables • Communicate with appropriate internal departments • Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts and prospect for new accounts • Meet or exceed sales and margin goals • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction • Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts • Work with manufacturers' representatives to sell promoted items • Attend sales meetings and meet regularly with the Sales Manager • Communicate and cooperate productively with all departments • Utilize VIP (Dimensions of Professional Selling) techniques and methodologies

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma required • Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business is a plus • Practical sales experience in at least one of: food/meat processing, industrial processing, plant operating supplies, personal protection equipment or related safety items • Previous experience selling in paper, packaging, janitorial/sanitation or food service distribution is preferred • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to work in a team setting with diverse employees, managers and outside parties • Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills • Acceptable mathematical skills • Friendly and professional experience • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel • Experience with IBM I-Series/AS400 operating system highly desired • Travel is required, sometimes with overnight stays • Previous CRM experience, such as Salesforce or Dynamics, is preferred
