Beschreibung

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, and .NET • Lead by example in software design, automated testing, code review, and ownership of delivered work • Mentor and support junior developers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance • Integrate AI-enabled features into production systems, including LLM/GenAI APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows • Architect reliable API integrations with strong error handling and graceful degradation • Troubleshoot and resolve system defects • Address security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with DoW cybersecurity standards • Participate in GitLab CI/CD pipelines and collaborative development workflows • Document technical implementations and stay current with relevant technology developments • Support DoW PPBE applications and mission-critical defense financial and planning systems

🎯 Anforderungen

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance • Security+ certification • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field • 10+ years of professional software development experience across the full SDLC • Direct, recent experience delivering software in the federal sector (DoD/DoW or other federal agencies) • Direct experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, plus React, NodeJS, and/or .NET • Experience with RESTful APIs and system integration • Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Interest in or exposure to AI-enabled software engineering, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, agentic patterns, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and LLM observability • Knowledge of DoD PPBE processes, defense budget formulation, or DoD financial systems • Experience with AWS GovCloud, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI Service • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or other IaC tools • Familiarity with ATO processes, NIST frameworks, or FedRAMP • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Jira)
