Beschreibung

• Lead project design teams of 2–6 people • Develop optimized utility-scale solar designs ready for construction • Produce solar PV design and construction packages, including array layouts, electrical one-lines, collection systems, collection system studies, and equipment installation details • Interact directly with clients for successful project execution • Review and quality-control designs against internal standards, industry best practices, and client requirements • Act as the signing engineer for PV electrical designs • Contribute to internal solar engineering standards, toolsets, and work processes • Lead site visits and conferences • Support early-stage projects with conceptual designs and material take-offs

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program • Electrical PE license required or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months • 7+ years of experience in the solar industry or power generation • Experience with solar design software programs, including CYMCAP, PVFARM, SAM, and PVsyst • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels • Ability to manage projects, tasks, and clients • Experience with estimating or designing electrical systems is mandatory • Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, NEC requirements, and construction practices strongly preferred • Must have the ability to work permanently in the US • Relevant military experience considered
