Beschreibung

• Research and write test items aligned to item specifications • Revise test items based on feedback from content managers, project managers, clients, and subject matter experts • Evaluate, review, and revise test materials and documents • Write and refine graphics descriptions for student comprehension • Evaluate and track graphics changes for content accuracy and grade-level appropriateness • Prepare materials for internal and external reviews • Coordinate external consultants’ item development tasks and ensure timely delivery • Analyze small-scale pilot data and teacher and student feedback to revise items • Analyze and interpret field test data to inform item revisions and new item development • Communicate and collaborate within and across teams throughout the test development process • Adhere to quality control procedures for print and computer-delivered items • Prepare and maintain summary reports, electronic notes, spreadsheets, and other records • Write and revise test item specifications • Maintain the test item database • Prepare training samples, annotations, and scoring notes for speaking and writing responses

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field with at least two years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field • Experience working with K-12 English learners in U.S. school contexts, particularly grades K-5 • Experience teaching English to speakers of other languages, such as ESL, ESOL, or ELD • Experience developing multiple-choice and constructed-response test items for K-12 students • Understanding of English language development and K-12 education standards and practices • Ability to work independently with minimal support or supervision • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively • Attention to detail • Flexibility in responding to feedback and evolving project priorities • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills • Proficiency in a language other than English • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office • May require occasional travel 1–2 times per year • Resume and cover letter required when applying • Position not open to candidates residing in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, or the U.S. Territories
