Beschreibung

• Manage the delivery and strategic evolution of content authoring platforms • Contribute to the system roadmap with Technical Directors and engineering leads • Assess technical feasibility and infrastructure scaling needs of AI and non-AI software projects • Facilitate technical design discussions and help developers resolve complex logic blockers • Translate business goals into detailed technical specifications and API boundary definitions • Identify technical risks, mitigate system constraints, and drive technology choices • Serve as the primary technical interface for external organizations, state educational agencies, and client integration teams • Lead discussions on cross-platform data exchange, secure integrations, and standardized data pipelines • Oversee implementation of educational data frameworks and ecosystem standards such as QTI • Establish data mappings and interface requirements with third-party vendors • Triage backend system issues by analyzing data flows and systemic impacts • Perform root-cause analyses and compile post-incident reports • Write SQL Server scripts to extract, validate, and isolate data errors • Review application and server logs to investigate bugs and data pipeline failures • Oversee deployments and operational maintenance windows with DevOps and SRE teams • Partner with QA engineers throughout the development lifecycle • Structure Confluence repositories for searchable and accurate reference materials

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technology-focused discipline • Minimum 7+ years of experience in technical project management, or Master's degree with 5+ years • 5+ years directly managing software engineers, executing hands-on software development, or leading technical system design • 2+ years operating within data analysis, product support, or technical coordination roles • Familiarity with modern data transmission protocols, RESTful APIs, webhooks, and secure data-sharing frameworks • Proficient hands-on capability writing relational SQL Server scripts from scratch to analyze datasets • Solid understanding of back-end application architecture, web application interactions, and automated data flows • Demonstrated capability tracking large-scale engineering lifecycles from planning through deployment • Strong conceptual understanding of AI foundational components, including Large Language Models, generative workflows, and vector search • Hands-on proficiency using AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or automated project management workflows • Direct experience configuring, testing, or launching integrations utilizing the QTI framework • Strong desire to learn the multilayered mechanics of complex educational software applications • Prior experience working in high-pressure production support, site reliability, or incident management environments • Submit a cover letter and resume
