Beschreibung

• Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers • Mentor and guide engineers' professional and technical development • Partner with product managers to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios • Continuously improve software engineering practices • Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack tools and technologies • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions • Stay current with technology trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, and participate in technology communities • Encourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, diversity, and outside-the-box thinking • Improve team velocity across engineering teams • Lead deployment of new and existing applications into AWS environments • Oversee migration of monolithic applications to microservice architectures and build new microservices • Shape long-term technical strategy and architecture standards for enterprise platforms • Partner with senior engineering and business leaders to align product roadmaps with scalable technology capabilities • Drive talent strategy, succession planning, skill development, and equitable opportunity across engineering teams

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering) • At least 5 years of people management experience • At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture • Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering • Preferred: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture • Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience in Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala • Preferred: 8+ years of experience with databases and database management systems • Preferred: 10+ years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle • Preferred: 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies • Preferred: 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed systems integration • Preferred: 5+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development • Preferred: 2+ years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards • Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization
