Beschreibung

• Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers • Define long-term technical strategy and architecture standards for enterprise platforms • Align product roadmaps with scalable technology capabilities in partnership with senior engineering and business leaders • Drive talent strategy, succession planning, skill development, and equitable opportunity • Mentor and guide engineers' professional and technical development • Develop market-driven application capabilities and customer experiences with product managers • Improve software engineering practices across Agile teams • Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions • Lead solution craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability • Deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments • Build and operate high-volume, low-latency, resilient systems powering domestic and international payment rails • Engineer solutions across core network products and simplify global participant integration • Use automation and AI-native engineering to deliver real-time insights and improve fraud and risk mitigation capabilities • Foster innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity across the engineering organization

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field • At least 7 years of people management experience • At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture • At least 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns • At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) • At least 9 years of experience in data architecture • Experience with web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, databases, networking protocols, and third-party distributed systems • Experience coding in Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala • Experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies • Experience mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development • Experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews or establishing coding and design standards • Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools • Demonstrated experience using AI-driven tools, frameworks, or modern software development practices • Experience in fintech, specifically payment processing, merchant services, or digital payment architectures • Experience building and shipping enterprise software, enterprise-scale data migrations, and platform transformations • Experience architecting, testing, and operating real-time distributed data systems and high-volume pipelines • Ability to build and mentor high-performing engineering teams • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization
