Beschreibung

• Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers • Shape long-term technical strategy and architecture standards for enterprise platforms • Partner with senior engineering and business leaders to align product roadmaps with scalable technology capabilities • Drive talent strategy, succession planning, skill development, and equitable opportunity across engineering teams • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers • Work with product managers to define application capabilities, testing scenarios, and customer experiences • Continuously improve software engineering practices • Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack technologies within and across Agile teams • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions • Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineering community members • Encourage innovation, cutting-edge technology adoption, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity • Improve engineering velocity across the organization • Lead deployment of new and existing applications into AWS environments

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering) • At least 7 years of people management experience • At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture • At least 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns • At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) • At least 9 years of experience in data architecture • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering • Preferred: 12+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture • Preferred: 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns • Preferred: 12+ years of experience in web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript and SPA frameworks) • Preferred: 12+ years of experience designing and building distributed HPC and ML systems • Preferred: 12+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) • Preferred: 12+ years of experience in data architecture • Preferred: 12+ years of professional experience coding in Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala • Preferred: 10+ years of experience with databases and database management systems • Preferred: 12+ years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle • Preferred: 7+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies • Preferred: 12+ years of experience with networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems • Preferred: 7+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development within technical teams • Preferred: 3+ years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews or establishing coding and design standards • Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools
