Beschreibung

• Lead the architecture connecting pharmacy software with conveyors, PLCs, vision systems, divertors, and label printers • Architect IoT and distributed systems for pharmacy automation • Design and support connected-device platforms, including device identity, provisioning, twins/shadow state, fleet management, telemetry, and OTA updates • Design reliable messaging and guaranteed-delivery systems using gRPC and MQTT • Implement reliability patterns including idempotency, deduplication, transactional outbox, retries, dead-letter queues, partitioning, ordering, and reconciliation • Architect and operate multi-tenant SaaS platforms using containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and observability tooling • Apply security controls for connected devices and distributed systems • Report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture • Travel 50%

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required • Master's degree is a plus • 12+ years software engineering experience • 5+ years building distributed, real-time, or high-throughput systems • Deep .NET / C# distributed systems expertise • Expert-level C# and .NET • Async programming • Performance tuning • Microservices architecture • IoT / connected device platform experience • Device identity and provisioning • Device twins/shadow state • Fleet management • Telemetry pipelines • OTA (over-the-air) configuration and firmware updates • Handling intermittent connectivity • gRPC • MQTT • At-least-once delivery • Idempotency • Deduplication • Transactional outbox • Retry logic • Dead-letter queues • Partitioning and ordering • Reconciliation • Kubernetes • SaaS platform architecture and operations • Containers • Infrastructure as Code • CI/CD • OpenTelemetry • SLOs/observability • Device identity and certificate authentication • Mutual TLS • OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect • Service-to-service authorization • MQTT access control • Secrets management • Threat modeling • Ability to work remotely and travel 50%
