Beschreibung

• Support datacenter multi-region projects and ensure adherence to technical project portfolio standards, schedules, and deliverables • Provide engineering oversight and support across assigned regions • Align priorities, deliver milestones on time, and maintain project portfolio standards • Review and validate regional engineering outputs, including BAS Long Lead Equipment submittal packages, control drawing submittals, BOMs, as-builts, O&Ms, DOOs, graphics, and control sequence scripts • Support other regions as needed • Monitor regional engineering activities and open items using ASANA • Collaborate with the HQ Datacenter Team, Project Managers, Regional Engineering Managers, and branch hardware and software engineers • Develop control drawings and refine design templates with the HQ Engineering Manager and HQ team • Modernize legacy systems using the Engineering Design Suite (EDS) • Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and Parts Substitution Requests • Document and communicate building automation system designs and revisions • Follow company, customer, safety, design, programming, and implementation standards • Communicate expectations with managers and internal and external project teams • Model ethical conduct according to the Carrier Code of Ethics • Design and program advanced building automation systems using WebCTRL, including site-specific configurations and control algorithms • Develop graphical and text-based building automation interfaces using Eikon and ViewBuilder • Perform other assigned responsibilities supporting team and organizational goals

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC, Building Automation, or Controls systems • Must be willing to travel up to 10% (domestic and international) • Experience interpreting architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, BAS, EPMS, and civil drawings and project specifications • Skilled in reviewing, authoring, and recommending enhancements to sequences of operations for comprehensive building automation • Proficient in advanced functions of building automation software and engineering tools, preferably Automated Logic WebCTRL • Ability to provide direction and guidance to other team members • Strong time management skills, including accurately estimating task completion times • Able to write and suggest modifications to existing sequences of operations for common HVAC systems and control methodologies • Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical building systems • Capable of designing and programming all but the most complex projects executed by Automated Logic • Ability to request technical or scope clarifications via a formal RFI process • Competent, proactive verbal and written communicator able to translate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences • Well organized and able to balance multiple concurrent priorities • Ability to condense complex technical information into clear design documents • Proficient with Microsoft Visio and Automated Logic’s EDS (Engineering Design Suite) • Working knowledge of BAS communication protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, and N2 • Ability to design and troubleshoot BAS integrations • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Team player with a positive attitude • Possess and maintain valid and current government-issued identification • Ability to report to assigned work location reliably • Strong understanding of enterprise IP networks, including layout and troubleshooting • Willingness and ability to travel 10% of average workweek, including air travel, overnight hotel stays, and unexpected travel • Capable of climbing ladders or using lift equipment over 8 feet above grade • Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs
