Beschreibung

• Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to top enterprise organizations • Work as a member of a customer Account Team in a pre-sales technical role • Showcase Cisco product solutions, set up demonstrations, and explain features and benefits to customers • Design and configure products to meet specific customer needs • Align Cisco opportunities with customer challenges and priorities • Demonstrate the business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures • Ensure Cisco architectural vision addresses customers’ desired outcomes and capabilities • Collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to present solutions and support architecture development • Provide solution and architectural perspectives across the Cisco product portfolio • Apply technical specialization to specific customer opportunities • Act as a consultative technical advisor to account teams and customers • Stay current on Cisco innovations and relevant competitor solutions, products, and services • Assist with formal sales plans and requests for proposals for assigned accounts

🎯 Anforderungen

• 3+ years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles • Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings • Pre-sales experience with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Baseline SE/SA skills • In-depth knowledge in at least one adjacent technology: Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, Cybersecurity, or Route/Switch/Wireless • Expertise in Cisco solutions, competitors, and associated IT-market technologies • Ability to translate customer business priorities into technical solutions • Ability to deliver or support technical presentations and solution demonstrations • Excellent technical consulting skills, including defining trade-offs, asking probing questions, and incorporating Cisco solutions into broader technology environments • Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA are highly desirable • Strong business acumen and ability to frame Cisco offerings in terms of business and mission value • Conversant in AI infrastructure and IT use cases • Strong knowledge of Cisco switching, wireless, routing, data centers, and security technologies • Excellent presentation, communication, and technical consulting skills • Curiosity, passion for technology and problem-solving, and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new trends • Must be located in the New York Metro Area • Ability to travel regularly to the NYC-based customer
