Beschreibung

• Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to top enterprise organizations • Act as a member of a customer Account Team in a pre-sales technical role • Showcase Cisco product solutions, set up demonstrations, and explain features and benefits • Design and configure products to meet specific customer needs • Align opportunities with customer challenges and priorities • Demonstrate the business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures • Ensure Cisco architectural vision addresses customers’ desired outcomes and capabilities • Collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other Solutions Engineers • Present solutions and support architecture development for global enterprise customers • Provide solution and architectural perspectives across the Cisco product portfolio • Act as a consultative technical adviser to account teams and customers • Monitor relevant competitors’ solutions, products, and services • Assist with formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities • Deliver and support technical presentations and solution demonstrations • Define trade-offs, ask probing questions, and incorporate Cisco solutions into broader technology environments

🎯 Anforderungen

• Only candidates located in the New York Metro Area will be considered • 5+ years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles • Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings • Pre-sales experience translating technical solutions into business value • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Knowledge of baseline SE/SA skills • In-depth knowledge of at least one adjacent technology: Data Center, Collaboration, Security, or Route/Switch/Wireless • Understanding of overall Cisco solutions, competitors, and associated IT-market technologies • Excellent technical consulting skills, including defining trade-offs, asking probing questions, and incorporating Cisco solutions into broader technology environments • Strong business acumen and ability to frame Cisco offerings in terms of business and mission value • Conversant in AI infrastructure and IT use cases • Strong knowledge of Cisco switching, wireless, routing, data centers, and security technologies • Excellent presentation, communication, and technical consulting skills • Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA are highly desirable • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new trends • Regular travel to a New York City-based customer is required
