Beschreibung

• Own the payments strategy and multi-year roadmap • Sequence platform investments against near-term business commitments and defend tradeoffs with executives • Build a customer wallet across products and platforms, including balance and activity views, top-up, withdrawal, and split-pay • Deliver international payment, currency, and local payment method capabilities • Partner with Tax and Legal on registration, DAC7 reporting obligations, and market-by-market compliance • Run acquiring, alternative payment methods, payouts, settlement, funding patterns, reconciliation, ledger, and reporting end to end • Drive multi-PSP routing, least-cost routing, failover, redundancy, retry and decline strategy, and network-level economics • Own authorization rate and cost per transaction • Partner with Risk and Fraud teams on payment fraud, dispute loss, transaction screening, chargebacks, disputes, and approval-rate-versus-loss tradeoffs • Collaborate with Marketplace and Grading, Finance and Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Technology teams • Maintain regular exposure to the executive team

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8+ years in product management, with deep payments or consumer fintech experience • Experience owning production payment systems at meaningful scale • Senior IC experience at a high-growth marketplace, fintech, or platform company preferred • Knowledge of card networks and interchange • Experience with gateway and PSP integrations, including Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, or comparable platforms • Knowledge of tokenization, 3DS, SCA, alternative and local payment methods, payouts, and dispute lifecycles • Experience launching payments into new countries and navigating currency, local methods, regulatory, and tax reporting requirements • Experience with a marketplace • Ability to use data and experimentation, make high-conviction decisions under ambiguity, and take accountability for outcomes • Ability to communicate clearly and build alignment without authority • Strong financial operations experience preferred, including ledger, settlement, and reconciliation systems and Accounting close processes • Ability to work legally in the United States, validated through e-Verify
