Beschreibung

• The Staff Accountant position analyzes and reports on financial data to help the business run efficiently. • Process business transactions including accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts. • Participate in key areas of the monthly financial close to ensure timely and accurate reporting on financial results. • Prepare journal entries, reconcile various balance sheet and general ledger accounts. • Assists employees, vendors, clients, and/or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures and services. • Responsible for accounting functions that are part of an efficient month-end closing process, including reporting. • Properly store and manage financial data. • Regularly review bookkeeping for accuracy, provide reporting as necessary for audits. • Review and update accounting processes and procedures as needed. • Make financial recommendations. • Collaborate with accounting team as necessary. • Maintain confidential and secure storage of important financial information. • Ensure all bookkeeping is accurate and adheres to state and federal law. • Complete ad hoc projects and generate monthly reports as assigned.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. • 3+ years of progressive and operational accounting experience. • Strong Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Products. • Operationally comfortable with GAAP. • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screen. • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. • Experience with software system conversion is a plus. • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. • Ability to organize work, identify and complete critical tasks, and work independently with limited supervision. • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds across locations and departments. • Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs. • Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. • Willingness to take on new projects or assignments. • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. • Travel up to 5% of the time, some overnight travel required.
