Beschreibung

• Own end-to-end product execution for one or more capabilities within Couchbase’s AI portfolio across Capella and Couchbase Enterprise • Set the roadmap and create PRFAQs and PRDs for owned capabilities • Work backwards from enterprise customers, validate concepts with named customers, and make build-versus-defer tradeoff decisions • Partner closely with engineering to define scope, architecture rationale, quality, and launch timing • Run design partner programs and incorporate customer feedback into roadmap decisions • Coordinate with Core Database, Capella, Analytics, Mobile and Edge, and AI Specialist teams • Equip sales, sales engineering, PMM, and partner GTM with positioning, demos, competitive context, and customer proof points • Represent the product in customer briefings, webinars, blog posts, documentation, enablement content, and analyst engagements • Use AI in product-management research, PRFAQ drafting, customer synthesis, competitive analysis, roadmap modeling, and engineering collaboration • Contribute to PRFAQ and PRD standards, interview loops, onboarding, and mentoring of early-career PMs • Deliver shipped capabilities with measurable adoption and named reference customers • Report to the VP of AI Product Management

🎯 Anforderungen

• Seven or more years in product management, including at least three years on a technical platform such as a database, data infrastructure, developer tools, or AI infrastructure • Technical fluency in vector search, embeddings, RAG, agent frameworks, model serving, context engineering, and emerging interoperability standards • Ability to engage credibly with engineering on architecture, scope, and tradeoffs • Customer-focused, working-backwards product-management approach • Experience using AI for research, PRFAQ drafting, customer synthesis, competitive analysis, and roadmap modeling • Hands-on experience building with frontier AI models, including APIs, code-generation tools, MCP, agent frameworks, and modern developer ecosystems • Familiarity with Anthropic’s Claude stack strongly preferred • Strong written communication, particularly PRFAQs and PRDs • Record of personally taking products and features from PRFAQ through launch and adoption • Experience at a database, data platform, or AI infrastructure company is nice to have • Direct experience with vector search, agent memory, RAG pipelines, or model serving is nice to have • Public presence, such as blog posts, conference talks, OSS contributions, or analyst-facing work, is nice to have • Prior mentoring experience is nice to have • Must be based in the United States
