Beschreibung

• Receives, gathers and accurately transmits workers’ compensation information to the company • Investigates, evaluates, and resolves Workers’ Compensation claims • Mediates situations as they arise between the insured and the insurance company • Enters and maintains accurate information on a computer system during the claim process • Generates checks for indemnity and medical payments daily • Develops and monitors consistency in procedural matters of the claims handling process • Compiles and interprets Workers’ compensation reports on designated accounts • Participates in claim reviews and attends Risk Control Workshops when requested

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma; college degree preferred • Active state specific Workers Compensation License required or ability to acquire license within three months of hire • 2-4 years claims experience with strong background in Workers’ Compensation coverage • Invests in the understanding and application of claims principles and practices
