Beschreibung

• Overseeing the Compliance department specialists and coordinators • Implementing policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance relevant to Dominium's affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, Project Based Section 8, Tax Exempt Bond, and HOME programs • Identifying best practices and evaluating improvement opportunities • Overseeing the performance and daily responsibilities of Compliance Coordinators and Compliance Specialists • Resolving complex compliance issues, focusing on underperforming assets • Coordinating and completing all annual owner reporting requirements • Reviewing monthly financial statements for Watch List properties • Identifying operational challenges and opportunities • Reviewing variance analyses • Supporting the development of action plans and performance goals • Participating in executive summary discussions and Watch List meetings as needed • Partnering with department leadership to establish and achieve departmental goals and objectives • Developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance training programs and initiatives • Serving as a subject matter expert for agencies and stakeholders on funding program requirements • Serving as the Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) Coordinator • Managing user access, tracking required cybersecurity and compliance training, and overseeing compliance across HUD systems • Participating in intake and critical path meetings for acquisitions, new construction, and re-syndication projects • Conducting compliance due diligence reviews of proposed agreements and providing guidance on regulatory requirements • Supporting Development by assisting with tax credit delivery schedules and processing Form 8609 documentation • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key external stakeholders

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on rental real estate experience • Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience administering Housing Tax Credit programs • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new systems, and Yardi experience preferred • Knowledge of HUD Section 8 and Section 236 compliance requirements • Knowledge of multi-state housing agency compliance and reporting requirements • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designations required, with continuing education maintained annually • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to analyze financial and compliance-related information and perform income calculations; general accounting knowledge preferred • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulations across multiple programs and jurisdictions • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
