Beschreibung

• Lead multiple large-scale operational solutions design projects simultaneously • Ensure projects are delivered on time and comply with the DSV Solution Design and Rules of Engagement process • Interface directly with customers throughout solution design and implementation planning • Analyze customer Request for Proposal information and data, identify gaps, and develop assumptions • Lead operational design for new business, including data collection, facility layouts, process design, staffing, equipment specification, budgeting, pricing, documentation, and proposal development • Ensure accuracy and content of Solution Design responses • Coordinate internal functional groups and stakeholders throughout proposal development • Develop and lead internal and external customer presentations • Provide project management and engineering support for implementations and operational enhancements • Monitor supply chain industry information, equipment innovations, technology, and operational best practices • Share industry information, design best practices, and innovative ideas with the Solutions team • Establish timelines and task ownership in the Request for Proposal response process • Lead multiple projects simultaneously • Provide education, training, and development for Senior Solutions Engineers and Solutions Engineers • Support stabilization objectives within the operations support team

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor degree required, preferably in engineering • 7+ years working in contract logistics warehousing and/or manufacturing support solutions design within third-party logistics, or similar operational design and implementation experience • Solutions design and/or operations management experience in Hi-Tech, Auto, Industrial, Healthcare, Retail and/or FMCG verticals • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, data mining/data analysis, P&L analysis, return calculations, and pricing strategies • Strong commercial acumen and experience developing varied pricing structures, including fixed/variable, fully variable, and cost-plus • Understanding of market competitive pricing • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio proficiency required • English reading, writing, and verbal proficiency • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Strong analytical and leadership skills • Ability to work independently without detailed supervision • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds • Ability to stand for several hours per day • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb • Ability to travel by plane and/or automobile • Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
