Beschreibung

• Take projects from inception to completion, including scoping, planning, and delivery of high-quality solutions • Estimate work and set expectations with teammates and stakeholders • Drive discussions on process or SDLC adjustments after bugs, missed requirements, or performance issues • Participate in the on-call rotation • Work directly with Product, Support, Finance, and other stakeholders to scope work and establish timelines • Provide high-level updates to stakeholders outside Engineering • Interface with internal teams on new features and user-facing functionality • Contribute across the Edovo software stack • Facilitate scalable, extendable, maintainable, and testable design choices • Balance platform needs with business needs • Guide strategic investments in platform, tooling, and infrastructure improvements • Stay current with proven industry advances, including AI-assisted development practices • Mentor engineers through code review, architecture discussions, and pairing • Help less-experienced engineers develop project plans and estimate work • Report to a Software Engineering Manager • Travel up to 15%, including bi-annual company retreats in Spring and Fall

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of experience in modern full-stack web-application development • Experience with backend systems serving tens of millions of requests per day • Experience with Java/Spring Boot • Experience building rich client web applications in JavaScript • Experience with React • Experience with automated testing, continuous deployment, and monitoring/alerting • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows • Experience with AWS infrastructure and/or comparable cloud-native architecture • Track record of owning a project end-to-end, from scoping through delivery, with minimal oversight • Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical projects • Clear, structured written and verbal communication skills • Detail-oriented • Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Must currently reside in the United States • Current resume and cover letter required; applications without a cover letter will not be reviewed
