Beschreibung

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate service options for injured workers • Assist injured workers in receiving appropriate, cost-effective medical care in a timely manner and expedite return to work • Communicate with medical providers, employers, injured workers, claims examiners, insurance representatives, physicians, therapists, and attorneys • Perform complete nursing evaluations to determine patient needs • Review and evaluate medical correspondence, provider reports, treatment plan history, and claimant clinical status • Research alternative treatment options as warranted • Provide claims examiners with directives and file-status updates • Arrange transportation services when necessary and authorized • Evaluate therapy facilities and their progress • Prepare comprehensive case-file notes • Discuss analyzed data and comprehensive plans of care with insurance representatives before implementation • Implement authorized plans of care with patients, physicians, and healthcare providers • Arrange care and services including home care, procedures, medication, equipment, or supplies • Monitor and modify plans of care as needed • Coordinate information among injured workers, physicians, employers, providers, therapists, and attorneys

🎯 Anforderungen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing • 3-5 years clinical experience as an RN outside of school • Valid Compact RN license in good standing with no restrictions • Valid state-appropriate RN license in good standing with no restrictions • Will be required to obtain CA RN License within 90 days (reimbursed) • Possesses and can demonstrate the professional and technical skills of a Registered Nurse • Experience in Case Management; Workers' Compensation experience preferred, but not required • Experience in Home Health Care, Occupational Health considered a plus • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills • Excellent Interpersonal & Organizational Skills • High comfort level with computers and computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, Email)
