Beschreibung

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions within an event-driven architecture • Analyze and address complex problems in multifaceted systems to improve performance and scalability • Write efficient, modular, and testable code • Support the product lifecycle from concept through development and deployment, and beyond • Communicate effectively, escalate challenges, and participate in code reviews • Collaborate with Product, Quant, and Engineering teams to deliver stable and reliable applications • Participate in planning and design discussions • Improve software quality through testability, operational metrics, and comprehensive documentation • Develop product and industry understanding across the sports betting domain • Participate in mentorship and knowledge-sharing opportunities • Participate in an on-call rotation • Travel occasionally for special events, essential offsite meetings, and team collaboration sessions

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 8+ years of real-world demonstrable experience building and deploying scalable, high-performance applications • Proven technical leadership at staff level, including leading complex systems across multiple teams, setting technical direction, and mentoring engineers • 8+ years of experience with C# and cloud platforms; Azure is a plus • Effective communication skills for explaining complex technical topics to diverse audiences • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, hyper-growth environment with evolving priorities • Understanding of software design, development, and testing principles including SOLID, DRY, TDD, and BDD • Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD) • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams • Experience working in a start-up environment • Familiarity with sports betting or keen interest in sports is desirable • Visa sponsorship is not available • Fully remote candidates must be based in Ireland or the UK
