Beschreibung

• Own the inbound bug pipeline for the Fiscal.ai Terminal, including Sentry issues, customer-reported problems, and self-discovered issues • Reproduce, prioritize, fix, or route every bug • Fix bugs across the React/Next.js frontend, Cloudflare Workers backend, and data layer • Investigate issues to their root cause rather than patching symptoms • Design and build the Terminal’s end-to-end test framework using Playwright • Run end-to-end tests in CI against preview deployments • Expand regression coverage for financials, charting, screener, portfolio, authentication, subscriptions, and paywall flows • Write unit and integration tests alongside fixes • Create debugging guides, test conventions, and tooling for the wider team • Work alongside engineers building the Terminal and Fiscal.ai data infrastructure

🎯 Anforderungen

• Write good code, fast, and fix issues directly rather than only filing tickets • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js • Hands-on experience building end-to-end test automation, preferably with Playwright • Experience with unit tests using Vitest or Jest • Experience running tests in CI • Strong full-stack debugging skills using browser devtools, network traces, server logs, error monitoring, and database queries • Experience testing and debugging data-heavy applications where correctness matters, such as finance or analytics • Proven experience or strong interest in investing and finance • Ability to read an income statement, understand LTM and NTM, and recognize obviously incorrect P/E ratios or free cash flow figures • Understanding of paid data products, subscription tiers, entitlements, and paywalls • Experience or interest in AI technologies, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs) • Experience using AI coding agents as part of daily workflow • Keen eye for design, UI, and UX • Based in Canada • Nice to have: Python • Nice to have: Cloudflare Workers, Firebase/Firestore, and PostgreSQL • Nice to have: Highcharts or other charting libraries • Nice to have: Finance coursework, CFA progress, or professional investing experience
