Beschreibung

• Lead the team through Flickr’s shift in software development practices • Set expectations, model new workflows, and coach engineers • Define rigorous verification standards and build repeatable evaluations • Hire, mentor, and grow the team • Assess and coach engineers on tool inputs, usage, and output verification • Own quality signals, detection, alerting, and triage for assigned areas • Set the roadmap with the product partner • Keep leadership informed on progress, risks, and incidents • Partner with Legal, Trust & Safety, and Support on privacy, data handling, moderation, and regulatory deadlines • Manage a team responsible for native apps, groups and community, privacy and moderation tooling, and product quality

🎯 Anforderungen

• Management experience with direct responsibility for your team’s performance and growth, including the hard conversations • Hands-on fluency with agentic workflows, including shipped work using prompts, agents, and agentic loops • Experience building evals and a clear opinion on verification when a human didn’t write the code • Deep frontend web experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js • Hands-on backend experience building APIs on serverless infrastructure • Sufficient technical depth to challenge plans and earn credibility with senior engineers • Track record of improving quality and reliability on a consumer-facing product • Precise, concise communication • Comfort with budgets, cost optimization, and vendor management • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Visa sponsorship is not provided
