Beschreibung

• Design, build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform as the primary infrastructure-as-code tool • Develop and own CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application deployments • Automate provisioning, configuration and lifecycle management across multiple client environments and subscriptions • Implement and enforce security, governance and compliance baselines using Azure Policy, RBAC, Key Vault, networking and landing zones • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Azure workload performance, reliability and cost • Act as the senior technical escalation point for Azure, Terraform and DevOps practices • Coordinate workload and prioritisation across the team • Conduct code and architecture reviews and uphold engineering excellence • Work with Solution Architects and the Head of Cloud Operations on solution design, migrations and customer onboarding • Participate in an on-call / out-of-hours rota

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven, in-depth experience engineering and operating Microsoft Azure environments in production • Extensive Terraform experience, including writing, structuring and maintaining modules, state management, workspaces and remote backends • Strong DevOps background, including CI/CD pipeline design, Git-based workflows and release automation • Demonstrable experience leading or mentoring engineers, setting technical direction and coordinating team delivery • Solid scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash or Python • Sound understanding of Azure networking, identity (Entra ID), security and governance • Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical, root-cause approach to problems • Participation in an on-call / out-of-hours rota • Azure certifications, HashiCorp Terraform Associate qualification, container/orchestration experience, MSP or multi-tenant experience, client-facing delivery, and configuration management or policy-as-code familiarity would be advantageous
