Beschreibung

• Build and lead the team that edits and delivers paid social and native ads • Hire, lead, and develop Editors and post specialists, and build a freelancer bench for busy periods • Own the quality of every ad the team ships and maintain a high craft bar • Give clear, useful feedback to improve edits and bring cuts to a finished, high-quality state • Oversee editing and delivery from in-person shoots, remote UGC, and AI-generated video sources • Own and improve the media pipeline, including footage ingest, color correction, and organization • Occasionally edit the highest-priority ads personally to set the team standard and stay close to the craft • Maintain high-volume production of ads and variations without quality slipping • Manage workload and priorities so deadlines are met • Partner with the Head of Creative Production and Creative Directors on hiring and raising the craft bar • Ensure finished ads meet legal and brand guidelines before launch

🎯 Anforderungen

• A strong portfolio of short-form video editing for paid social, direct-response, or performance content; actual work must be provided • 2 to 3+ years managing editors, including hiring, leading, and developing a team • Ability to evaluate cuts, identify what is and is not working, determine how to fix them, and explain feedback clearly • Track record of hiring and developing good editors, with a clear point of view on identifying editing talent • Excellent editing craft, with strong instincts for story, pacing, and finish in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional editing tool • Solid command of post-production workflow and media systems, including ingest, color, and asset/DAM organization • Understanding of effective paid social advertising, including strong hooks, tight pacing, clean captions, and native platform feel • Comfort with AI editing tools and a point of view on where they help and do not • Ability to work at high volume and pace, shipping many ads and variations weekly without lowering quality • Clear communication and ability to work with creative, production, and media-buying teams • Self-starter comfortable in a fast, start-up style environment • Editing work with clear performance results behind it is a strong plus • Motion graphics or light design skills, such as After Effects or similar, are a strong plus • Experience managing freelance or contract editors is a strong plus • Experience finishing AI-generated footage to a high, real-ad standard is a strong plus • Familiarity with current AI editing tools and asset-management (DAM) systems is a strong plus • Comfort reading performance dashboards to inform editing decisions is a strong plus
