Beschreibung

• Serve as the primary technical authority for the plant’s capital portfolio • Approve major design deviations and provide high-level solutions for execution roadblocks • Lead critical decision-making using expert-level data analysis, reasoning, and risk identification • Serve as the subject matter expert for project execution standards • Ensure projects have fully defined scope, budget, schedule, and adherence to engineering standards before advancing • Develop and present business cases for critical, large-scale capital projects • Drive continuous improvement and adaptability strategies across the engineering department • Lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, including site expansions and technology upgrades • Manage complex stakeholder relationships up to the executive level • Assist management with project engineering workload monitoring and identify when external engineering firms are needed • Support talent development through guidance, knowledge sharing, and translating lessons learned into best practices • Perform other job duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering • 10+ years of experience in an engineering role • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Ability to influence and lead others without direct authority • Willingness to drive continuous improvement and change • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work under limited supervision and make independent judgments and decisions • Excellent organizational skills • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite • Large capital project management capability • Advanced knowledge of financial governance, the capital funding (AFCE) process, and large-scale portfolio management • Advanced knowledge of corporate engineering standards and the project execution process • Ability to develop, analyze, and present comprehensive business cases for multi-million-dollar capital investments • Ability to evaluate, approve, and oversee major design deviations and provide high-level engineering solutions • Expert-level root cause analysis skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning • Ability to develop, interpret, and revise complex technical documents and engineering drawings • Expertise in standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures • Preferred: 10+ years of experience within manufacturing or roofing/building products • Preferred: Advanced proficiency in engineering and project management tools • Demonstrated ability to develop, prioritize, and execute plans across multiple projects • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa
