Beschreibung

• Build and sustain enterprise applications used by Department of Defense/Department of War personnel for program and financial management • Own application capabilities from requirements analysis through solution design, API development, implementation, testing, deployment, verification, and sustainment • Use AI development tools across coding, testing, schema changes, documentation, and deployment while maintaining accountability for quality, security, and maintainability • Design tables, keys, constraints, and indexes; evolve database schemas as requirements change • Write SQL directly against Oracle and assess database execution and performance implications • Contribute to Angular front-end development • Own changes through build, security scanning, testing, deployment, and verification pipelines • Write clean, well-tested code and explain technical approaches during peer review • Provide substantive and constructive code reviews • Investigate defects to identify root causes • Participate in architecture and design decisions and advocate for technically sound approaches • Sustain and enhance existing capabilities, modernize underlying technology, and develop new functionality • Evaluate existing solutions for improvement, refactoring, replacement, or retention • Some travel may be required

🎯 Anforderungen

• Seven or more years of professional software development experience • Substantial hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in data science, computer science, software engineering, information systems, mathematics, or a closely related technical discipline • Eleven or more years of relevant technical training or professional work experience may be considered in lieu of education • Depth in relational databases, including schema design and non-trivial SQL • Working familiarity with a modern front-end framework such as Angular or React • Experience delivering software through CI/CD into a cloud environment using a mainstream toolchain • Recent hands-on experience with Java LTS release 21 or 25 • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance • Ability to sit, type, hear, see, and speak for extended periods • Ability to communicate accurate information and ideas effectively • Ability to lift/carry at least 15 lbs • U.S. citizenship required • Must complete an approximately 60-minute technical assessment • Must be able to work additional hours and/or weekends as needed • Relocation expenses are not compensated • H1-B visas and other visas are not sponsored
