Beschreibung

• Provide technical leadership for Services Projects involving steam turbine controls engineering • Drive customer order fulfillment excellence from order inquiry through customer acceptance and commercial operation • Support requisition, design, structuring, validation, and commissioning of steam turbine control system components • Own technical scope execution, design, and implementation into production for nuclear and fossil steam turbine controls projects • Identify and mitigate technical risks across the complete controls scope • Provide technical inputs for customer proposals • Support and influence new product development and product sustaining requirements • Drive architecture, top-level design, verification, validation, and commissioning requirements • Ensure system safety, function, performance, interface, reliability, and maintainability requirements are met • Support test plans, customer system tests, site installation, startup, and commissioning • Coordinate customer requirements and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle • Support Project Engineers in customer discussions and reviews • Drive consistent solutions across controls scope • Apply and enforce Mark VIe controls platform software, design practices, and engineering processes • Maintain and use control application software libraries • Provide customer product support • Ensure compliance with internal and industry technical regulations, standards, and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with global technology teams, internal customers, external customers, and business leaders

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of 10 years of design experience in steam turbine controls engineering • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering • Nuclear power generation controls or plant operational experience • Experience in design & application of GE power generation controls, HMI, electrical, and cyber systems • Strong understanding of steam turbine and plant systems operation and integration with other systems • Proven strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to apply engineering principles to analyze, design and troubleshoot systems associated with control system retrofits for steam turbines • Proven oral and written communication and presentation skills • Strong experience in power generation projects, working with customers, project management, and/or EPCs • Demonstrated systems level thinking • Experience in a matrix organization structure, working cross-functionally • Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives • Ability to proactively identify and resolve technical issues • Experience with proposal generation and market level pricing for turbine controls retrofit opportunities • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Visio, and Office Suite • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • Master’s degree in a technical discipline (desired) • Field engineering experience with steam turbine controls retrofits (strong plus)
