Beschreibung

• Build robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on the Databricks platform using Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog • Process data from diverse sources using reliable and maintainable code • Write automated unit, integration, and data quality tests for pipelines • Embed testing in CI/CD and provide technical feedback through code reviews • Implement monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks for the production data platform • Lead incident investigations to root cause and derive corrective actions • Use AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and operations • Identify opportunities to improve team productivity with AI • Share learnings with teammates and mentor colleagues in an agile team

🎯 Anforderungen

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or software development • Hands-on ownership of production data pipelines • Hands-on experience with Databricks or Apache Spark, including Delta Lake and data lake management • Strong Python and SQL skills • Significant experience with automated unit and integration testing for pipelines • Experience with data quality validation • Experience working with CI/CD • Experience operating pipelines in production, including monitoring and alerting • Experience participating in or leading incident investigations to root cause • Effective use of AI tools in daily engineering work • Strong communication skills • Ability to mentor colleagues in an agile team • Knowledge of French required for permanent positions in Quebec • Fluency in English required
