Beschreibung

• Design, develop and maintain customer-facing applications across the Discover platform • Build responsive, accessible and high-performing user experiences using React and TypeScript • Develop and enhance features across multiple frontend applications and shared component libraries • Consume and integrate GraphQL and REST APIs within modern frontend architectures • Contribute to the evolution of the micro-frontend and platform architecture • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver customer value • Take ownership of features from design through to production deployment • Support CI/CD pipelines and frontend delivery processes • Drive engineering improvements, automation and operational excellence • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews and architecture conversations • Help build customer journeys for discovering investments, comparing savings products, searching financial instruments, and completing account opening and transfer journeys

• Strong ownership mentality • Passion for building intuitive and engaging customer experiences • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Comfortable working within modern frontend ecosystems and distributed systems • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Curiosity and willingness to learn across the full stack • Proactive approach to identifying usability, performance and accessibility improvements • Experience with React, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, Zustand and Tailwind CSS • Experience with React Testing Library and Playwright • Knowledge of modern component-based architecture patterns • Experience building customer-facing web applications • Experience consuming GraphQL APIs within frontend applications • Experience building GraphQL-driven user experiences • Experience working with GraphQL schemas and API contracts • Experience integrating frontend applications with GraphQL and REST services • Experience developing applications in API-first environments • Understanding of backend architectures and API integration patterns • Node.js exposure • REST API integration experience • Experience working across frontend and backend technologies • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub or GitLab workflows, modern software delivery practices, code reviews and collaborative development • Desirable: micro-frontend architectures, Module Federation, performance optimisation, frontend observability, design systems, shared component libraries, Contentful or other headless CMS platforms, Typesense, Elasticsearch, LaunchDarkly or feature flagging platforms, OAuth and authentication flows, analytics integration, Grafana or similar observability platforms, accessibility-first development, AWS Lambda, API Gateway and Infrastructure as Code concepts • Nice to have: financial services experience, exposure to PHP-based platforms and services, and experience in large-scale digital product organisations • Candidates must not require employment sponsorship; Hargreaves Lansdown is unable to provide employment sponsorship
