Beschreibung

• Define Roon’s product strategy and target audience • Determine how serious listeners discover and consume music and evolve Roon accordingly • Represent listeners through conversations, community forums, support tickets, reviews, and product data • Translate strategy into a prioritized feature set • Decide what gets built, cut, or not undertaken • Own and sequence the roadmap across multiple quarters • Create implementation plans and specifications with engineering • Instrument product metrics and define feature success measures • Build interactive prototypes using AI tooling • Maintain and defend the product quality bar with design • Investigate the codebase, business rules, constraints, and edge cases before specifying changes • Build research pipelines, internal tools, automations, and evaluation harnesses • Collaborate with engineers and a designer in a hands-on senior product role

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years in product management • Owned strategy for a whole product or business rather than a feature area • Conducted own research rather than commissioning it • Launched something new and stayed with a mature product long enough to live with earlier decisions • Serious, long-standing involvement with music • Daily use of AI for research synthesis, prototyping, and personal tooling • Experience taking ideas to working prototypes with Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, or v0 • Ability to validate AI-generated work and know when not to use AI tools • Ability to commit to and defend positions with incomplete information • Ability to work with limited guidance in a small, remote, self-managing team • Strong written communication for expert users and senior leadership • Built measurement practices from scratch • Ability to query product data in SQL or equivalent, run experiments, and interpret results • Familiarity with subscription metrics including trial-to-paid conversion, retention, churn, and lifetime value • Technical fluency sufficient to understand system behavior, constraints, and tradeoffs • Willingness to travel up to 5%, domestically and internationally • Able to work virtually in any US time zone • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
