Beschreibung

• Own key balance sheet accounts, such as accruals, for monthly, quarterly, and annual close • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by accounting staff • Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for key accruals and other accounts • Manage payment streams for healthcare providers, healthcare members, and vendors • Lead balance sheet reconciliation processes and resolve reconciling items • Manage intercompany accounting activities and reconcile and eliminate balances • Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff; review work and provide coaching and performance feedback • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable federal, state, local, and Puerto Rico regulations • Monitor ERP system integrity and support process automation and continuous improvement initiatives • Support strategic projects, system implementations, and other finance initiatives as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• BS/BA in Accounting required • CPA preferred • Minimum 5–8 years of experience, including work in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments • Knowledge of ERP and other accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics preferred • Demonstrated ownership of the month-end close process, including full-cycle accounting responsibilities • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel with pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS • Healthcare company experience preferred • Ability to multitask and manipulate large amounts of data • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent problem identification and resolution skills, with a focus on root causes • Strong verbal and written communication skills • High integrity, positive can-do attitude, and strong work ethic • Ability to comply with GAAP, company policies, HIPAA requirements, and applicable federal, state, local, and Puerto Rico regulations
