Beschreibung

• Responsible and accountable for assigning jobs to ensure efficient driver operations • Ensure that company policies are followed and that work is conducted safely • Develop and maintain professional relationships with drivers • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure high service levels • Maximize driver availability to utilize equipment for revenue and profitability • Review dispatch sheet and driver assignments for load dispatching • Process and distribute orders according to terminal procedures • Ensure timely and efficient movement of loaded trucks • Schedule loads and assign qualified drivers • Enter load information into TMW system and prepare Delivery Receipts • Document and communicate pertinent information for scheduled loads • Maintain customer specifications and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) • Review driver's Hours of Service Logs for available hours • Update and forward reports as directed by terminal management • Perform other duties as specified by management • Address concerns from employees and customers effectively • Ensure compliance with safety rules like OSHA and DOT regulations • Monitor risks and follow established policies in emergencies • Report to the Terminal Manager

🎯 Anforderungen

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc. • Minimum 5 years of related experience • Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations • Some travel to corporate office and other locations • Willingness to work a flexible schedule • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements • Prior dispatch experience (preferred) • Experience using TMW and PeopleNet systems (preferred) • Tanker industry experience (preferred) • Prior management/supervisory experience (preferred) • Understanding equipment utilization and allocation (preferred)
