Beschreibung

• Provide ELA subject matter expertise on using NWEA assessment data in teaching and learning • Develop content promoting appropriate, consistent, defensible, and equitable use of NWEA data • Review, evaluate, and revise HMH and Heinemann product materials and assessments • Create and maintain high-quality assessment items and passages aligned to standards, frameworks, resources, specifications, checklists, and style guides • Provide senior reviews of item and passage sets • Contribute to process documentation and evaluation of passage or item bank inventories • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as an ELA subject matter expert • Consult with program management on project issues and concerns • Apply evidence-based and equitable practices to product strategies and approaches • Support project launch meetings and lead development-specific project meetings • Generate ideas to improve processes and procedures • Track tasks, schedules, budgets, and compliance with financial, legal, and organizational requirements • Communicate project direction, progress, concerns, and proposed solutions • Collaborate across teams to support Scrum methodology • Present informational and professional development workshops • Train and mentor new and existing staff • Develop and communicate expertise in development tools, software, and processes • Implement project changes and report intervention needs to management

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as English Language Arts or Education • At least 3 combined years of subject-area teaching experience and experience as a test development specialist • Subject matter expertise in English Language Arts • Expertise in industry standards for assessment quality, including technical requirements for items and tests • Expertise in assessment development processes for custom and shelf products • Experience writing or reviewing curriculum • Strong understanding of how assessment and curriculum work together to promote learning • Working understanding of research design, data analysis, psychometric concepts, and measurement principles • Experience in instructional design and delivering training • Ability to collaborate extensively with peers and cross-functional stakeholders • Ability to develop creative solutions to resource and schedule challenges • Ability to communicate project direction, progress, concerns, and proposed solutions clearly • Preferred but not necessary: master’s degree in a relevant field • Preferred but not necessary: 5 years of K–12 classroom teaching experience • Preferred but not necessary: at least 3 years of educational assessment experience
