Beschreibung

• Provide subject matter expertise in Maintenance, Reliability, or Operational Best Practices for corrugated box and converting operations • Lead data analysis to identify business improvement opportunities involving equipment, processes, systems, or other business elements • Develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, reliability, waste, and costs • Lead, coach, and mentor employees in continuous improvement tools, including Lean Manufacturing, statistical analysis, scientific thinking, root cause analysis, and standard work • Lead on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic events • Partner with leadership to develop project roadmaps and key milestones for sustainable practices • Communicate findings, action plans, and status updates to multiple organizational levels, including the VP of Operations • Engage subject matter experts, site leaders, operators, and OEM/vendors • Model safe work practices and leadership characteristics consistent with Hood Container Guiding Principles

🎯 Anforderungen

• Demonstrated expertise in the corrugated industry, preferably with diverse converting equipment experience • Experience using a process approach to make operational improvements, such as speed trials and setup reductions • Experience using and educating others on Lean Six Sigma tools for continuous improvement preferred • Proven experience in training related to best practices, processes, procedures, and computer applications • Experience collaborating with other subject matter experts • Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize those tasks • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience preferred in auditing and corrective action planning • Ability to travel at least 75% of the time within the U.S. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to learn software systems quickly
