Beschreibung

• Architect, build, and ship production full-stack web applications in TypeScript using React/Next.js and Node.js services and APIs • Design and own back-end services, APIs, and third-party integrations • Deploy, operate, and monitor applications on Google Cloud or AWS, including infrastructure, CI/CD, task queues, observability, security, and cost • Own product areas end to end from problem discovery and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement • Partner with creative, production, and operations teams to translate workflows into reliable software • Integrate AI capabilities, LLM APIs, agents, and automation into applications • Drive code review, testing standards, documentation, and engineering best practices • Serve as technical lead on selected client web projects and occasionally direct freelance developers • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and approaches as Hook's needs evolve • Own Hook's internal applications and platform architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and long-term health

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience • At least 5 years writing production TypeScript/JavaScript as the primary language • Expert-level TypeScript, including advanced types and generics, strict-mode codebases, type-safe API contracts, and JavaScript runtime knowledge • Deep Node.js experience building and maintaining production HTTP APIs and back-end services with Express or a comparable framework • Deep React expertise, including component architecture, hooks, state management, data fetching, performance optimization, and CSS solutions • Production Next.js experience with App Router, server components, server-side rendering, routing, and caching • Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform or AWS experience deploying and operating production applications • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and environment/secrets management • Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL or similar and working knowledge of document databases • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, such as Vitest/Jest and Playwright • Secure, reliable, maintainable coding and sound architectural decision-making • Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot • Ability to explain architecture clearly to engineers, creatives, producers, and clients • Ability to work autonomously, handle ambiguity, and own work through production and beyond • Resume, statement of interest, and code samples required; TypeScript work requested where possible • Preparedness to discuss code in depth during interviews
