Beschreibung

• Architect, build, test, and continuously deliver new features and products for claims services • Standardize software quality assurance procedures • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers throughout the software development lifecycle • Provide technical guidance, support, and expertise • Oversee testing and debugging and develop fixes • Research complaints and make adjustments or recommendations to resolve complex software issues • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and quality guidelines • Advise leaders on functional strategies and significant matters • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues • Collaborate with an agile team to build modernized claims ecosystems using software stacks and cloud technologies

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects • 2 or more years of project leadership experience • 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects from conception to completion • Strong foundation in software development, programming, software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies • Experience developing cloud solutions for large-scale enterprise • Experience with Java Spring Boot development with public or private cloud • Experience with microservice architecture and cloud design patterns • 3–5 years of Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch experience • 3–5 years of REST API development experience • NoSQL database experience, preferably MongoDB • Azure hands-on experience or experience with AWS, GCP, or PCF • Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD, and automation • Experience working in a Scrum/Agile setup • Experience using AI code-assist tools such as Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms • Ability to promote responsible AI-assisted engineering practices while ensuring code quality, security, maintainability, and compliance • Effective communication, mentoring, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development • Must currently reside within a 60-minute commuting distance of, or be willing to relocate to, Louisville, KY; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Tampa/Ft. Lauderdale, FL; or Nashville, TN • Must work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information • Internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed • Preferred: Master's degree; frontend and backend development; Kafka; Kubernetes/containerization; Angular or React; Azure certification
