Beschreibung

• Manage and oversee the systemwide revenue-cycle coding compliance program • Provide daily oversight of coding operational processes and workflow • Deliver timely and accurate coded cases for facility billing and hospital/provider quality metrics • Manage coding staff to achieve productivity and quality goals • Align coding performance with revenue-cycle goals and Munson Healthcare objectives • Develop and evolve the strategy for Munson Healthcare coding operations • Supervise and direct assigned personnel using independent judgment • Manage large programs with substantial budget and organizational impact • Coordinate diagnostic and procedural coding processes with regulations and payer requirements • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational standards and policies • Assist with planning, service commitments, budgets, internal quality assessments, and controls • Ensure integrity of coded and abstracted data and support coding staff education and training • Build relationships with Revenue Cycle departments, clinical providers, and practice staff • Serve as a resource on coding and charge capture • Develop coding goals, objectives, productivity targets, policies, and procedures • Monitor budgets and report variances • Coordinate daily responsibilities of the Coding team • Drive continuous improvement and provide Human Resources guidance

🎯 Anforderungen

• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required • Bachelor Degree in Health Information Management (HIM) is required • Current standing as a nationally certified RHIT or RHIA is required • Preference given to candidates with CCS and/or CIC certification • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Direct supervisory experience required • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience or coding leadership experience required • 3–5 years experience in coding a variety of visit types • Comprehensive knowledge of the revenue cycle, particularly facility coding • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding classification systems • Proven analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, planning, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills • Experience managing complex projects or concurrent client engagements • Team leadership experience, including building talent, training, supervising, coaching/mentoring, and performance management • Experience creating, providing, or facilitating meeting and/or training presentations • Ability to manage multiple projects and staff in a complex, stressful environment
