Beschreibung

• Analyze financial data and reports from multiple systems to validate results, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate accounting • Lead the revenue recognition process, including analysis of contracts, performance obligations, and complex, multi-element arrangements in accordance with ASC 606 • Prepare and review journal entries and financial statements as part of the monthly close process • Evaluate accounting implications of new products and services and develop appropriate revenue recognition processes • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable accounting standards • Manage external audits and support the preparation of audited financial statements • Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and automate accounting processes and reporting • Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement scalable accounting solutions, systems, and processes • Stay current on accounting standards and advise management on relevant changes and actions • Support the development of accounting team members and promote effective collaboration across the organization • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • Four years of experience in public or private accounting • Strong understanding and experience with ASC 606, including multi-element contracts and performance obligations • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with financial/accounting systems and large data sets • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify errors, investigate discrepancies, and assess the reasonableness of financial results • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and follow through • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to improve and simplify processes • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to improve accounting processes and analysis • CPA or working toward CPA certification preferred • Experience in revenue recognition or technical accounting preferred • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar systems preferred
