Beschreibung

• Own and scale accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, and tax • Own the full-cycle accounting function and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close • Manage the general ledger, chart of accounts, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial statements • Manage external review/audit processes and liaise with third-party firms • Own cash management, treasury, liquidity forecasting, and banking relationships • Oversee AP, AR, billing, collections, profit-share calculations, payroll, spend controls, and vendor management • Build and maintain scalable billing, revenue reconciliation, and financial systems • Build and own the financial model, budget, rolling forecast, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and long-range planning • Partner on strategic planning, scenario modeling, pricing, resource allocation, and business-case analysis • Oversee federal, state, local, payroll, and sales tax compliance • Own and optimize the finance technology stack and implement scalable systems • Establish a single source of truth for financial and operational data • Drive automation, process improvement, dashboards, self-serve reporting, and SOP documentation • Identify opportunities to apply AI tooling for automation and efficiency • Report to the COO and oversee a small offshore team and AR Specialists

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting • CPA designation • 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including public accounting and/or high-growth companies • Expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks Online • Hands-on experience owning month-end close and financial reporting • Experience leading audits, due diligence, and business reviews with leadership teams • Strong systems mindset and technical proficiency • Ability to work directly in accounting tools and independently build automations and integrations • Detail-oriented and able to reconcile numbers accurately • Ability to create structure, automate processes, document workflows, and build repeatable systems • Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders • Comfort working in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment • Preferred: experience in technology, SaaS, or startup environments • Preferred: experience as the first or sole owner of accounting and finance at a high-growth company
