Beschreibung

• Develop and maintain product scorecards to monitor key product performance indicators and identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations. • Acquire subject matter expertise on insured policy and claim data, including retention, storage, reporting, and visualization. • Use SQL, Python, and other analytical applications to acquire, summarize, and report policy, premium, and loss data. • Work with underwriting leaders to manage rating plans, pricing strategies, premium and exposure trends, and underwriter discretionary rating activity. • Identify price segmentation opportunities and lead implementation with the technology team. • Manage policy form kits, including ISO, carrier-specific, and proprietary forms and applications. • Define requirements to streamline, structure, and automate underwriting and policy issuance processes. • Evaluate third-party data sources to improve process efficiency or risk assessment. • Ensure loss runs from claims TPAs are properly ingested, archived, and reported. • Analyze loss results considering statistical credibility and loss development maturity. • Evaluate competitors, market segments, competitive advantages, and product enhancement opportunities. • Optimize financial results by balancing production, loss ratio, agency commission, and fees. • Report to the VP of Product Management and Actuarial.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree required; quantitative discipline preferred • 2–3 years of P&C insurance product management experience, or 3–5 years of P&C insurance Product Analyst experience • Familiarity with P&C insurance policy and claims workflows, data, and relevant metrics • Experience with commercial lines rating plans using ISO loss costs or proprietary rating plans • Expertise in insurance pricing strategies, particularly in property and casualty insurance • Demonstrated process analysis and automation competency • Strong analytical and data skills; Excel power user • Experience with SQL, Python, or other data extraction and reporting tools • Working knowledge of actuarial fundamentals, including loss development triangles, rate level indications, premium trends, loss trends, and credibility • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
