Beschreibung

• Take extreme ownership of delivery for teams depending on the pipelines • Keep code flowing to production reliably and unblock teams quickly when issues arise • Extend the supported delivery window by working from the Eastern time zone or further east • Remove manual steps from the pipeline and optimize orchestration to increase throughput • Lead thoughtful change management and prepare teams for changes to delivery workflows • Enable engineers through clear communication, guidance, and strong design • Use AI and agentic coding tools to research, design, and generate deterministic pipeline code • Build and run pipelines that extract, build, ship, and safely deploy code to production • Provide orchestration and quality-check hooks for teams working in a shared codebase

🎯 Anforderungen

• Solid experience as a senior DevOps, delivery, or platform engineer • Strong command of Git and GitHub Actions, or an equivalent CI/CD system such as CircleCI, Blacksmith, or Depot • Good working understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline design • Comfort with YAML and some Bash scripting • Familiarity with Docker and containerization • Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog • Fluency with AI coding tools, including Claude and Cursor • Experience in a monolith or large shared codebase at a company of meaningful scale • Strong communication and a genuine, collaborative approach • Located in the Eastern time zone or further east, with Canada strongly preferred; Atlantic or the UK also a good fit • Comfortable with an earlier-than-standard start to support an extended delivery window • Ruby experience is a nice-to-have, but not required • Candidates must be currently living and working in Canada and eligible to work there without employer sponsorship • Jane is unable to support relocation, visa sponsorship, or employment through a third party or employer of record • Comfortable with AI use throughout the interview process, including transcription tools
