Beschreibung

• Build and maintain high-quality ecommerce experiences across Shopify and custom infrastructure • Work with Shopify APIs, product/variant data, cart behavior, checkout constraints, and webhooks • Ship frontend experiences in React, Next.js, and occasionally Vue • Build backend services, integrations, and internal tools • Extend Cloudflare Workers and reverse-proxy/split-testing infrastructure • Support A/B testing and experimentation across the ecommerce funnel • Improve Recharge/customer portal subscription flows, cancellations, product swaps, rebill logic, and retention features • Implement and validate tracking across experiments, attribution, and analytics • Use AI coding tools to explore approaches, debug, generate tests, and review work • Own pre-launch QA for high-impact launches • Identify edge cases and monitor launches after release • Communicate risks, scope concerns, and potential breakages early and clearly • Help ecommerce launches ship faster with fewer post-launch issues • Reduce manual CTO oversight for Shopify, checkout, subscription, and tracking work • Raise engineering quality and mentor the wider engineering team through collaboration

🎯 Anforderungen

• Production experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, webhooks, and product/variant/cart/checkout logic • Strong React and/or Next.js skills • TypeScript or strong modern JavaScript • Node.js or similar backend experience • Solid API design skills • Experience integrating third-party APIs • Git/GitHub PR workflow experience • Experience owning production deployments • Track record debugging production issues and building fast, reliable, maintainable software • Sound judgment using AI development tools as an accelerant • Strong written and verbal English communication • Willingness to work EST hours • US-based • Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment • Recharge or similar subscription platform experience preferred • Experience with subscription flows preferred • Shopify Functions / Checkout Extensibility preferred • Cloudflare Workers, reverse proxies, or edge infrastructure experience preferred • A/B testing or experimentation systems experience preferred • Ecommerce analytics and tracking tools experience preferred • Performance optimization for high-traffic ecommerce pages preferred • Building internal ecommerce, operations, or catalog tools preferred • Hands-on AI-assisted coding workflow experience preferred • Required application portfolio link
