Beschreibung

• Serve on multiple or a single client assignment, leading comprehensive energy management and decarbonization programs • Report to the Sustainable Operations Director • Oversee energy management programs to deliver energy savings, carbon footprint reduction, and utility cost optimization • Conduct facility energy audits and technical reviews to identify energy conservation measures and facility improvement retrofits • Evaluate technical viability, risks, lifecycle costs, and ROI for facility projects • Draft technical project scopes for capital retrofits and operational improvements • Implement Measurement & Verification frameworks and report performance against contractual savings guarantees • Secure utility rebates and government decarbonization grants • Manage energy data collection and produce monthly and quarterly client reports • Analyze electrical and gas consumption patterns and identify operational anomalies • Audit utility bills for rate optimization, demand charge reductions, and billing errors • Prepare energy consumption and GHG emission reports for sustainability disclosures • Provide technical documentation for utility compliance and regulatory audits • Partner with Site Facility Managers to review operations, equipment schedules, and BAS sequences • Recommend strategies to reduce energy intensity while maintaining comfort, safety, and critical environment requirements • Educate stakeholders on energy and sustainability topics • Develop decarbonization roadmaps and phased capital retrofit plans • Improve sustainability performance across extensive portfolios • Develop systems and processes for best-practice sustainability delivery • Collaborate with JLL energy managers on best practices, case studies, and new business opportunities • Train and mentor junior colleagues • Lead the technical support team in solving complex problems and prioritizing deadlines

🎯 Anforderungen

• University Degree (Science, engineering, math, or related fields) • Specialized technical understanding of common HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems and their impact on sustainability goals • Advanced understanding of energy conservation measures • Ability to analyze corporate portfolios by benchmarking and reviewing utility data • Advanced understanding of Greenhouse Gas Emission scopes and reporting • Familiarity with energy procurement processes and renewable energy options • Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate adoption of different points of view • Leadership of technical support teams to solve complex problems and prioritize deadlines • Experience conducting site walkthroughs, such as ASHRAE Level 1 and 2 • Strong project management and prioritization skills • Experience with technical and feasibility reviews, lifecycle cost analysis (LCCA), and ROI evaluation • Experience implementing Measurement & Verification (M&V) frameworks and performance tracking systems • Knowledge of utility rebate programs and government decarbonization grants • Experience preparing tenders and work orders and selecting equipment and service vendors • Specialized knowledge of environmental reporting, utility management, energy budgets, environmental improvement programs, and ISO 14001 compliance • Experience working with multifunctional teams • Experience managing small teams of energy and sustainability professionals • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
