Beschreibung

• Support the Transportation Security Administration's Checkpoint Property Screening Systems group within Acquisition Program Management • Provide expert engineering and analysis support for baggage screening systems security equipment • Contribute to development of requirements artifacts, including CONOPS, ORD, FRD, SER, and RA • Translate user requirements, mission needs, and gaps into functional and system-level requirements • Develop operational requirements and write functional and technical requirements documents • Generate work breakdown structures using MS Project • Perform statistical evaluation using R, JMP, or Excel • Review test reports and analyze data • Summarize conclusions and perform risk assessments and configuration management decisions based on results • Support systems engineering, systems development, test and evaluation, and requirements development activities • Travel less than 10% as required by project demands

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical, electrical, systems/software/computer engineering, or another related discipline • Must have an engineering degree • Minimum five years of experience in related systems engineering and requirements development • Knowledge and experience with DHS Acquisition Directive 102 or DoD 5000 preferred • Knowledge of systems engineering and systems development methodology, including the Acquisition Life Cycle Framework • Experience with DHS or DoD acquisitions and development of operational requirements • Experience writing CONOPS, ORD, and FRD documents • Minimum three years of experience with Test and Evaluation (T&E) of Federal acquisition systems (DHS or DoD) • Experience using R, JMP, or Excel for statistical evaluation • Experience reviewing test reports, analyzing data, summarizing conclusions, performing risk assessments, and making configuration management decisions • Knowledge of project management, including work breakdown structures using MS Project • Knowledge and experience with transportation security equipment, particularly baggage handling and screening devices, preferred • Experience with Cameo, MagicDraw, and/or Jira is a bonus • Must be able to pass DHS suitability screening or DHS financial responsibility standards • Must have or be eligible to receive a DHS Secret security clearance • Existing Secret Clearance is a plus • Less than 10% travel may be required
