Beschreibung

• Interface with clients and project representatives, including adjusters, brokers, and insurers • Schedule and perform field inspections and necessary site visits to evaluate scope of work and damage • Estimate medium to large commercial and residential projects using Xactimate • Document, review, and analyze schedules, contracts, change orders, correspondence, daily reports, meeting minutes, monthly reports, and other project/file documents • Provide technical direction to other consultants and support their files • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to develop new business opportunities • Nurture and strengthen existing client relationships • Write reports of findings after inspections

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of 7+ years of estimating experience • Work experience in the restoration, insurance, and remediation field, with responsibilities for estimating large commercial complex losses • Experience in reconstruction projects, roofing, appraisal, mitigation, cost analysis, disaster recovery, or equivalent fields welcome • Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited college or university, or 10 years of demonstrable experience and accomplishments in the restoration industry in lieu of a degree • Relevant restoration and/or restoration contracting experience specializing in working with insurance companies, including scheduling, project management, and estimating • Proficiency with Xactimate, Symbility, RS Means, or other estimating software • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to produce high-quality expert reports • Valid driver’s license and good driving record • Strong project management, analysis, and critical thinking skills • Ability to meet deadlines while being detail oriented • Strong independent work ethic and leadership skills • Exceptional customer service skills • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site • Physical ability to conduct inspections and carry inspection equipment • Ability to climb ladders to reach high areas or roofs • Ability to write reports of findings after inspections, comprising 50% of day-to-day duties • Must be able to be on call or work weekends or nights • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and for CAT response when needed
