Beschreibung

• Collaborate with patients, patient financial advisors, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive financial advocacy • Manage patients’ copay assistance and free drug program experiences • Pursue medication assistance and communicate application needs with patients • Follow enterprise financial clearance and financial assistance policies and procedures • Maintain productivity, quality, and customer service requirements • Coordinate pharmacy activities for defined areas of responsibility, including regulatory compliance, automation, medication access, compounding, equipment, and daily work • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws • Participate in orientation, education, and training coordination for pharmacy employees, residents, students, and staff • Ensure alignment with pharmacy and health system standards across locations • Use advanced computer systems and area-specific systems • Identify and implement process improvements using lean principles and the plan-do-check-act method • Cover technician staffing shifts as needed • Direct and organize daily departmental work and pharmacy personnel resources • Communicate with patients and internal stakeholders • Work with pharmacy leadership to achieve departmental goals • Cross-cover team-member duties and adapt responsibilities to changing organizational and patient needs

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent • 3 or more years in a comparable external setting OR 2 or more years as a pharmacy technician at The University of Kansas Health System • Pharmacy Technician Registration - State Board of Pharmacy Kansas and/or Missouri - per work state upon Hire • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) OR equivalent National Pharmacy Technician Certification • Maintain certification on an ongoing basis and complete all continuing education requirements • Basic keyboarding skills • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access • Ability to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
