Beschreibung

• Take end-to-end ownership of the web and mobile apps, from customer conversations and problem framing through requirements, design, and production metrics • Drive the product roadmap, deciding what to build next and what not to build in collaboration with sales, operations, and leadership • Work closely with engineering to specify product requirements and rationale and stay involved through implementation • Spend time with African importers and exporters, from SMEs to multinationals, as well as sales and operations teams on the ground • Design reliable, robust, and scalable flows, including failure and stuck-transaction scenarios • Help scale Kappa’s cross-border payments platform across Africa and into new markets

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years in product management • Fintech product experience in payments, lending, or banking is required • Cross-border payments experience is a plus • Experience building products in emerging markets is a plus • Fluency in payments concepts including settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, RFIs, treasury, and liquidity • Understanding of KYC, AML, and licensing constraints in product design • Ability to write unambiguous product specifications covering problems, customers, success criteria, and constraints • Product design judgment and ability to explain design choices based on customer goals • Ability to produce product flows using AI-driven tooling such as Pen.dev and Claude Design • Ability to read API schemas or contracts and follow architecture discussions • Ability to identify hidden technical complexity and distinguish difficult from easy implementation work • Ability to communicate appropriately with executives and engineers, including edge cases
