Beschreibung

• Oversee the installation of Automated Material Handling Systems • Provide direction to the Installation team • Lead safety, scope, quality, schedule, budget, risks, and opportunities for assigned projects • Lead, manage, and supervise installation projects • Plan, coordinate, and direct large sophisticated projects • Make quick decisions on complex project issues and provide follow-through • Provide overall project safety leadership • Focus the team on high-quality installations and installing right the first time • Plan and manage installation schedules in collaboration with Project Management • Provide monthly bottom-up EAC forecasts and earned value tracking • Manage project resources and provide feedback to the Resource Team • Review project documents, plans, and specifications • Direct installation activities and resolve construction difficulties • Coordinate field installations and project close-outs • Develop and maintain customer/client relationships • Interpret drawings, mark and unit summaries, and Dematic’s Installation Standards • Lay out project work and schedule materials, tools, and equipment to meet scope, budget, and construction schedules • Conduct regular performance evaluations of resources to support individual development • Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure specifications and Dematic standards are met • Assist with training subcontractors on installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment • Direct all installation site personnel • Guide and direct daily Site Coordinator activities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Ability to travel 80% of the time • OSHA training or certificate preferred • Physically able to traverse construction site environments • Bi-lingual, English and Spanish • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point and able to navigate MS Project • Project Management Training or knowledge of Project Management Methodologies • Knowledge of Lean Guiding Principles • Working experience with material handling equipment preferred, but not required • Must be willing to travel on short notice and spend up to 80% of the time traveling • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts • Must be able to act calmly in stressful situations • Must be able to write concise, clear, and complete trip reports within the required timeframe according to Dematic procedures • Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers, database functions, and communications • Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required • High School or equivalent experience required • Strong leadership skills • Strong planning and coordination skills with attention to detail • MS Word and Excel experience required
