Beschreibung

• Provide design support for cost-effective and timely audio, video, and control system design solutions tailored to user and client needs • Coordinate work with internal team members, architects, engineers, theater consultants, and other built-environment disciplines • Create and maintain project assets including Revit models, Excel files, Word documents, 3D models, and AutoCAD drawings • Work with Designers and senior Consultants to deliver AV systems and infrastructure drawings, details, specifications, and construction documents • Support construction administration by reviewing and responding to submittals and RFIs • Observe construction and installation for adherence to the design and Kirkegaard’s best practices • Serve as a technical guide and mentor to interns • Travel occasionally for industry events, conferences, training seminars, company events, or AV systems commissioning

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of three years of experience in live production, AV design, or equivalent industry • Basic knowledge of performance audio and video systems, including live video production and/or video projection and display, networking and control systems, concert audio, signal processing/routing, and performance power distribution • Proficiency with AutoCAD is required • General knowledge of AV-related IT services, networking hardware, infrastructure, and system architecture • Ability to self-manage time and tasks, work asynchronously with others across time zones, and maintain a positive work/life balance • High-level thinking and visualization skills with an orientation for design and creative problem-solving • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex issues and problems with clarity • Flexible, collaborative approach to work within the firm and with design team members • Current US-based driver’s license and ability to travel domestically • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred • Eastern or Central time zone-based is preferred
